Bold lines and strong colours are what make up old school tattoos. Traditionally there would be a bold outline, minimal shading and strong colours such as green, red, yellow and blue.  Designs such as hearts, roses, daggers, swallows, anchors and pin-up girls are still favourites today. Old school tattoos are timeless and age well.
